Dual-Support Cross-Cutting Saw for Stone Processing
PROMASZ PP2TK18-14.0-600 is an advanced two-port crosscut saw designed for precision cutting and formatting of natural stone slabs (marble, granite, etc.). Its cutting capacity depends on the blade diameter and motor power. The device operates in both manual and automatic modes, offering great flexibility. It has a robust design with ball-and-socket guides in the X and Z axes, and the disc is mounted directly on the shaft of a 9 kW “dachshund” type motor. It is controlled by a PLC and a touchscreen operator panel, with a selectable cutting program tailored to marble or granite. As standard, the saw works with discs up to 600 mm in diameter, with an option to adapt to discs up to 900 mm in diameter. Z-axis accuracy is ±0.2 mm/100 mm.

Installation Requirements
- Power supply cable: 5×6 mm2 flexible copper cable
- Network protection before the machine: D32-3P for 11kW
- Grounding: Before start-up, all fixed metal parts should be connected with a grounding strip of min 120 mm2 to the PE of the electrical installation.
- Utilities: Electricity, water, and compressed air should be supplied to the foundations from the control cabinet side.
- Main Switch: It is the responsibility of the saw purchaser to install a 63 A main switch in an enclosure on the wall, in an accessible location.
